Privacy policy

nhouse Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") sets forth this privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of customers in the services provided by the Company (hereinafter collectively referred to as "the Services").

Article 1 (Personal Information)

"Personal Information" as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, as amended, hereinafter referred to as the "Personal Information Protection Act") refers to information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual based on (i) names, birth dates, and other descriptions (written, pictorial, or electromagnetic records, including records created by electromagnetic means) contained or recorded in the information, or expressed by voice, motion, or other means (excluding personal identification codes), and (ii) information containing personal identification codes.

"Related Personal Information" refers to information related to living individuals as defined by the Personal Information Protection Act, including but not limited to Cookie information, advertising identifiers, user IDs of the Company's services, location information, attribute information, browsing and purchase histories, and other behavioral histories.

"Personal Data" refers to the collective term for Personal Information and Related Personal Information.

Article 2 (Methods of Collecting Personal Information)

The Company may ask for personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, annual income, bank account number, credit card number, and driver's license number when customers register for or apply for the Services. The Company may also collect transaction records containing personal information and payment information from partners and third parties.

Article 3 (Purposes of Using Personal Information)

The purposes of using personal information by the Company are as follows:

  1. To accept and respond to applications for purchasing products and services (including electromagnetic records such as NFTs, hereinafter referred to as "the Products").
  2. To guide properties after applying for the purchase of the Products.
  3. To inform about the sale of the Products.
  4. To provide and operate the Services.
  5. To respond to customer inquiries.
  6. To send emails and deliver advertisements regarding new features, updates, campaigns of the Services, and products and services provided by the Company and its partners.
  7. To communicate various matters related to the Services, including maintenance and changes.
  8. To prevent misuse of the Services and ensure safety.
  9. To allow customers to view and modify their registration information and usage status.
  10. To confirm the purchase, billing, or payment of the Products.
  11. To improve and develop the Services or new services.
  12. For customer verification.
  13. For credit decisions and management and other application screening.
  14. To manage and maintain properties subject to owner rights and to communicate about them.
  15. To lend out properties subject to owner rights.
  16. To analyze usage trends of properties subject to owner rights and provide services tailored to customer preferences.
  17. To introduce products and services sold by affiliated businesses.
  18. To introduce financial institutions for customers (the Company does not mediate in lending money).
  19. For recruitment activities, event invitations, sending materials, personal verification, and recruitment management.
  20. To collaborate with companies related to customer travel arrangements (travel agencies, employers, etc.) and other external partners (credit card companies, etc.).
  21. To provide personal data to third parties within the necessary scope to achieve the above purposes, with customer consent or as permitted by law.

Article 4 (Changes in Purposes of Use)

The Company may change the purposes of using personal information only with prior consent from customers, or if the new purposes are reasonably related to the original purposes, and if consent has been obtained separately from customers. If the purposes are changed, the new purposes will be notified to customers or published on the Company's website.

Article 5 (Management and Protection of Personal Information)

The Company strictly manages personal information and takes preventive and corrective measures against risks such as unauthorized access, loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information.

Article 6 (Third-Party Provision)

The Company provides personal data to third parties in the following cases or with separate consent from customers:

  1. To provide third parties for payment settlement, responding to customer inquiries, contacting customers from the Company, and providing related after-sales services.
  2. To provide third parties for surveying and analyzing the usage of the Services.
  3. To provide third parties for delivering or displaying advertisements of the Company or third parties.
  4. To introduce customers to third parties selling products and services when customers wish to purchase them.
  5. To provide service partners for travel arrangements related to customers (travel agencies, employers, etc.).

Article 7 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Handling)

The Company may outsource all or part of the handling of personal information to a payment agency or other business consignee within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use defined in Article 3. In this case, the Company will carefully examine whether the business consignee meets the Company's separately defined selection criteria, and will ensure that the business consignee properly manages the personal information.

Article 8 (Joint Use)

The Company jointly uses personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes defined in Article 3.

Article 9 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

The Company will disclose personal information to the customer without delay when requested to do so by the customer. However, this does not apply if the Company is not obligated to disclose the information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. If the Company decides not to disclose the information, the customer will be notified without delay. In addition, a fee of 1,000 yen per case will be charged for disclosure.

Article 10 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

If the Company is requested by the customer to correct or delete personal information on the grounds that the information is false, the Company will conduct a necessary investigation without delay and correct or delete the information based on the results of the investigation. The Company will notify the customer of the correction or deletion without delay.

Article 11 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

If the Company is requested by the customer to suspend or erase the use of personal information on the grounds that the information is being handled beyond the scope of the purposes of use or has been obtained by improper means, the Company will conduct a necessary investigation without delay and suspend or erase the use of the information based on the results of the investigation. The Company will notify the customer of the suspension or deletion without delay.
